Diving with Puffins

Atlantic puffins are beloved seabirds that nest on coastal cliffs and sea stacks around the British Isles. While not strictly underwater residents, puffins dive to depths of over 60 metres to hunt fish and can occasionally be seen "flying" underwater near their nesting colonies. Skomer Island in Wales and Elegug Stacks in Pembrokeshire offer unique opportunities to dive near puffin nesting grounds.
